Fun Run

  • All TMCA permanent, max term teammates, as well as friends and family are eligible to participate in the fun run. Those Teammates who complete the run are included in the draw for the trip to Paris in 2024 and to represent TMCA in the 10k or Marathon for all. The Paris Olympics 2024 draw applies to Teammates only. Friends and family are not eligible.
  • Entrants in the 10km and 21.1km race must be 18 years and over to participate. 

    Children aged between 10 – 17 years can participate in the 800 metre children’s run. 
  • The events are open to all abilities, and of course, you can walk during each event if you need to.
  • While the 10k is more ‘beginner’ friendly, we highly encourage people to train thoroughly for each event. The Wellness Centre will be supporting people to design running programs.
  • Please note that there is a cut off time for the marathon in Paris, so you need to be able to complete a marathon in under 6 hours. Based on this, you should be able to complete the half marathon in under 3 hours.
  • We will be drawing 4 names out of a barrel after the race completion. 1 Male and 1 Female will be selected for the 10km and Marathon distances (4 total).
  • On race day, if you complete the 10km distance, you will be eligible for selection to the 10km Paris 2024 event. If you complete the 21.1km distance, you will be eligible for the Marathon Paris 2024 event.
  • Each winner will receive:
    • One entry into either the 10km “Paris 2024 Marathon For All” event or the 42km “Paris 2024 Marathon for All” event. 
    • Return flights (in accordance with TMCA’s travel policy and procedure) for one person from nearest capital city to the winner’s home location (Australia) to Paris 
    • 6 nights accommodation for one person in Paris 
    • Meals allowance for the travel period in accordance with TMCA’s travel policy and procedure
    • Transfers to and from Paris Airport to Paris Hotel and return ground transport to each prize event (Paris 2024 Marathon and Olympic basketball semifinal) 
    • One ticket to Olympic Games basketball Women’s semi-final
  • Follow the steps to register in the registration email sent on 24 October.
    Once you have registered here you will also be sent a link to register via Race Roster. It is important that you also complete the registration via Race Roster. 
  • Yes however, you will need to arrange your travel and accommodation to Melbourne. TMCA will fund a return flight and one night’s accommodation in line with TMCA’s Travel Policy.
  • This event is open to TMCA teammates only.
     
  • Once you have registered for the Fun Run, please book your return flights and one night’s accommodation in Melbourne using E-travel. 

    ​​​​​​​The travel itinerary should go through to your manager for approval and the cost should be assigned to the below account codes when submitting your expense claim in Concur:

Family Day

  • You can bring along your immediate family members (spouse/partner, dependants, parents, siblings) or up to two friends.
  • We will be hosting a family BBQ at all the regional sites on the same date. More information will be provided by your regional representatives soon.
  • There will be music, entertainment, and activities for the whole family. We will also have tours of the Toyota Centre of Excellence. More details on the program will be announced soon! 
  • Yes, of course. We encourage all teammates to attend family day in Melbourne or your respective regional site. However, if you are attending the family day in Melbourne from another state, you will need to pay for your own flights and accommodation.
